Most schools are run by people who care about children. Still, a few warning signs are worth taking seriously before you commit.

  1. The fee structure is not given in writing. If the total annual cost is unclear, it usually goes up.
  2. Affiliation cannot be verified. For CBSE schools, check the affiliation number and level.
  3. Pressure to pay immediately. "Only today" offers leave you no time to compare.
  4. You are not allowed to see classrooms during school hours.
  5. High teacher turnover. Ask how long teachers usually stay.
  6. Reviews describe the same problem repeatedly, and the school never replies.
  7. No clear safety or pickup policy.

None of these alone means a school is bad, but each deserves a clear answer before you pay.

This guide is general information for parents. Rules, dates and fees change, so always confirm with the school or the official source mentioned.
